FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: I Will Survive, Inc. Hosts 13th Annual Art Jazz Gala at Trees Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA – Tuesday, March 24, 2026 – At I Will Survive, Inc., we believe that a community is only as strong as the support it provides to its most vulnerable members. That’s why we’re so excited to invite you to our most anticipated event of the year. We are officially announcing the 13th Annual Art Jazz Gala, taking place on April 18, 2026, at the beautiful and eco-friendly Trees Atlanta (1240 Krog St NE, Atlanta, GA 30307).
For thirteen years, we’ve gathered to celebrate life, resilience, and the power of the arts. This year, we’re turning up the volume and the creativity to raise essential funds for our breast cancer survivors and wellness programs. From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we’ll fill the air with jazz, fill the room with stunning art, and fill our hearts with the mission of providing financial assistance and wellness support to those affected by breast cancer.
A Night of Purpose and Harmony
Perhaps you’ve joined us before, or maybe this is your first time hearing about the work we do. Either way, we’d love to have you in the room. The Art Jazz Gala isn’t just a party; it’s a lifeline. The funds raised during this evening go directly toward our programs that provide a safety net for those who are fighting the battle of their lives. We focus on the "whole person," offering everything from emergency financial aid to wellness education through our Get Educated initiatives.
The atmosphere this year will be truly special. We’ve chosen Trees Atlanta for its commitment to sustainability and its beautiful, natural aesthetic. It seems we can’t find a better place to celebrate growth and healing than surrounded by the lush greenery of an organization dedicated to the Atlanta canopy. We encourage our guests to arrive in Artistically Creative or Semi-Formal attire, show us your personality and your passion for the arts!

Extraordinary Talent for an Extraordinary Cause
We are thrilled to announce a lineup of performers and artists that will make this 13th anniversary unforgettable. Music is a universal healer, and we have some of the best in the business joining us.
Headlining our entertainment is the incredible Avery Dixon. You might recognize him as the golden buzzer-winning saxophonist from America’s Got Talent. His soulful sounds are the perfect backdrop for an evening of reflection and celebration. Joining him will be the high-energy DJ Swaye, ensuring that the vibe stays upbeat and inspiring all night long.
But it’s not just about the music. Art is at the core of our gala. We are honored to feature the work of Andrea McKenzie, a world-renowned mixed media artist whose pieces capture the vibrancy of life. We’ll also have Portia from The Portia Show and the moving spoken word poetry of Moses Hardie III. Their contributions remind us that survival is an art form in itself.
Voices for Change: Our Key Speakers
Our gala is a platform for advocacy and education. We’ve invited a group of distinguished speakers who are leading the charge for better healthcare outcomes and community support in Georgia.
We are honored to welcome:
- Mrs. Jacki Labat: A dedicated community advocate who has spent years championing the needs of Atlanta’s residents.
- Representative Omari Crawford (GA District 84): A voice for progress and a staunch supporter of health equity.
- Mrs. Kate Denny: Bringing her unique perspective and passion for survivor support.
- Dr. Rosalynne Duff: An expert who understands the clinical and emotional complexities of the breast cancer journey.
These leaders will share insights into the state of breast cancer care and how we, as a community, can continue to bridge the gaps in service. Their presence underscores the importance of the work we do at I Will Survive, Inc., and how your donations make a tangible difference in policy and practice.

Why Your Support Matters: The Mobile Wellness Clinic
One of our biggest goals for 2026 is the expansion of our Mobile Wellness Clinic. We know that for many people, the biggest barrier to healthcare is simply getting to the doctor. Whether it’s due to a lack of transportation, financial constraints, or living in a healthcare "desert," these obstacles can be life-threatening.
Our Mobile Wellness Clinic takes the resources directly to the people. It’s about more than just screenings; it’s about education, nutrition support, and wellness coaching. When you purchase a ticket or sign up for a sponsorship package, you are helping us put wheels on our mission.
It seems we can't emphasize enough how vital this clinic is. By bringing care to the doorstep of those who need it most, we are catching issues earlier and providing a path to wellness that might not otherwise exist.

How You Can Get Involved
We want you to be a part of this story. Whether you’re a survivor, a family member of someone affected, or a community-minded individual, there are so many ways to support the 13th Annual Art Jazz Gala.
Tickets and Tables:
- Individual Tickets: $150
- Full Tables: $1,000 (The perfect way to bring your friends or coworkers together for a night of impact).
Sponsorship Opportunities:
We are looking for partners who want to make a bold statement about their commitment to health and wellness.
- Pink Sponsor ($5,000): A significant contribution to our general fund.
- Mobile Clinic Sponsor ($10,000): Directly supports the maintenance and staffing of our mobile unit.
- Presenting Sponsor ($25,000): Our top-tier partnership, offering maximum visibility and the knowledge that you are a cornerstone of our success.
If you can’t make it to the gala, you can still support us by visiting our shop or considering how to become a board member to help lead our organization into the future.

A Sustainable Future at Trees Atlanta
Choosing Trees Atlanta as our venue was a very intentional decision. At I Will Survive, Inc., we advocate for a holistic approach to wellness, which includes being mindful of our environment. The venue’s focus on urban forestry and ecological health mirrors our focus on the human body’s health and resilience.
The space at 1240 Krog St NE is not only eco-friendly but also provides a stunning, modern backdrop for our featured artists and performers. It’s a place where we can breathe, connect, and envision a future where breast cancer is no longer a financial or wellness death sentence for anyone in our community.
Recognizing Our Community
Events like this are only possible because of the incredible people behind the scenes. We often take time at our gala to recognize those who have gone above and beyond. From our tireless interns to our dedicated board members, it takes a village to provide the level of care we offer.
We often look back at our past honorees and feel inspired by their dedication. Seeing a colleague hold a "Board Member of the Year" award reminds us all that every hour volunteered and every dollar donated is a building block for someone else’s survival.

Final Takeaway: Let’s Make History Together
The 13th Annual Art Jazz Gala is more than a date on a calendar. It is a testament to the fact that we are still here, we are still fighting, and we are still supporting one another. Breast cancer affects so many, including men, and our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind because of their bank account or their zip code.
We would be honored to have you join us for a night of music, art, and community. Perhaps you can even invite a friend who has been looking for a way to give back. Together, we can ensure that I Will Survive, Inc. continues to be a beacon of hope for another thirteen years and beyond.
