When Your Digital Front Door Disappears
About a year ago, I was sitting at my desk trying to Google our own organization. I typed “breast cancer support Atlanta” into the search bar, scrolled through page one: nothing. Page two: still nothing. By page three, I felt a knot forming in my stomach.
Our website had essentially vanished from Google.
For a non-profit like I Will Survive, Inc., that’s not just a tech problem. It’s a lifeline problem. Every day, someone in Atlanta gets a breast cancer diagnosis. They’re scared, they’re searching for help, and they need to find us. But if we’re buried on page five of Google, we might as well be invisible.
That’s when everything changed. That’s when we met Chris Williams and the team at Elite Web Professionals.
Meeting Chris Williams: More Than Just a Web Developer
Chris Williams isn’t your typical tech guy who talks over your head with jargon and complicated explanations. From our first conversation, he got it. He understood that our website wasn’t just a website: it was how families found hope during their darkest moments.
As the founder and CEO of Elite Web Professionals, Chris has spent over 15 years helping businesses and organizations build their online presence. But what really stood out to us wasn’t his impressive resume or the fact that he’s helped over 500 businesses improve their SEO performance. It was his heart.
He listened. He asked questions about our mission, our community, and the people we serve. He wanted to understand why visibility mattered so much to us. And then he got to work.

The Website Rebuild: Creating a True Digital Home
The team at Elite Web Professionals didn’t just slap a fresh coat of paint on our old site and call it a day. They rebuilt our entire digital home from the ground up.
They took the time to understand our story: the women and men we serve, the families we support, the programs we offer. Every page was thoughtfully designed with our community in mind. They made sure that someone visiting our site at 2 a.m. after a new diagnosis could easily find the resources they needed.
The navigation became simpler. The donation process became smoother. Our event information became clearer. Everything was built with intention and purpose.
But the real magic happened behind the scenes.
Back on the First Page of Google: The SEO Success Story
Here’s where I need to brag on Chris and his team a bit. Within a few months of launching our new website, something incredible happened.
We’re back on the first page of Google.
I’m not talking about just one or two search terms. We’re showing up when people search for breast cancer support in Atlanta, financial assistance for cancer patients, mammogram help, wellness programs: all the things that matter to the people who need us most.
Chris’s approach to SEO wasn’t about gaming the system or taking shortcuts. Elite Web Professionals uses what they call “white-hat” strategies: ethical, sustainable methods that build long-term value. They focused on creating quality content, optimizing our site structure, and making sure Google understood exactly how we could help people in our community.
The results speak for themselves. Our website traffic has increased dramatically. But more importantly, the right people are finding us: the people who need our services, the donors who want to support our mission, and the partners who can help us expand our reach.

The Real Impact: More Donations, More Partners, More Lives Changed
Let me be real with you about what this visibility means for I Will Survive, Inc.
Before the website rebuild, we were struggling to connect with potential donors online. We’d have people tell us, “I searched for you and couldn’t find your website.” That’s heartbreaking when you’re trying to raise funds to help families pay their rent during treatment or provide gas cards for chemotherapy appointments.
Now? Our online donations have increased significantly. We’re reaching people who want to give back but didn’t know we existed. Corporate partners are reaching out to us because they can actually find us when they’re looking for local non-profits to support.
Just last month, a new corporate partner told us they discovered us through a Google search. They’re now sponsoring our upcoming Health Fair in July and providing resources for our community. That partnership wouldn’t have happened if Chris and his team hadn’t made us visible online.
Fueling Our Mission: Real Support for Real People
Every donation that comes through our website, every new partner who reaches out, every person who finds us through Google: they’re all directly fueling our mission to empower those affected by breast cancer.
We’re able to provide more financial assistance to families struggling to pay bills during treatment. We’re hosting more educational events, like our Health Fair coming up in July under the leadership of our incredible Program Director, Sierra Nurse. We’re connecting more people to clinical trial opportunities, mammogram screenings, and support groups.
This isn’t just about website metrics or search rankings. It’s about the single mom who finds us and gets help with her rent so she doesn’t lose her apartment during chemo. It’s about the man who discovers we serve men too and finally finds a support community. It’s about the family that connects with us for resources they didn’t even know existed.
That’s what Chris Williams and Elite Web Professionals gave us: the ability to reach more people who need us.

A Partnership Built on Purpose
What I appreciate most about working with Elite Web Professionals is that they didn’t treat us like just another client. They understood that their work had real-world impact on real people facing real crises.
Chris and his team continue to support us, offering guidance and making updates as needed. They celebrate our wins with us: like when we see a spike in traffic after an event or when someone shares our site with their network.
They’ve become part of our village. They’re invested in our mission and our success. That kind of partnership is rare and precious.
Moving Forward with Gratitude
As we look ahead to our Health Fair in July and all the other programs and events we have planned for 2026, I’m filled with gratitude. We’re in a position to serve our community better than ever before, and a big part of that is because people can actually find us now.
To Chris Williams and everyone at Elite Web Professionals: thank you. Thank you for rebuilding our digital home. Thank you for making us visible again. Thank you for understanding that your work isn’t just about code and keywords: it’s about connecting people to hope and help when they need it most.
You’ve given us the tools to reach more people, serve more families, and make a bigger impact in the fight against breast cancer. That’s a gift we don’t take lightly.
