From Dallas Greens to Atlanta Jazz: Big Moves for Our Survivors and Veterans!

Hey friends! We’ve got some seriously exciting things brewing at I Will Survive, Inc., and we couldn’t wait to share them with you. From Texas fairways to Atlanta’s art scene and honoring our incredible veterans, we’re stepping into this season with events and initiatives that truly reflect who we are, a breast cancer awareness organization in Atlanta that’s all about community, culture, and celebration.

Let’s dive into what’s happening!

Teeing Off for a Cause: Golf in Dallas

First up, we’re heading to Dallas! If you love golf (or just love supporting a great cause while enjoying beautiful greens), you’re going to want to mark your calendar for our Golf in Dallas event.

This isn’t just any golf tournament. It’s a day dedicated to supporting breast cancer survivors and their families, because we know that healing happens in community, and sometimes that community looks like a beautiful day on the course with people who care.

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or someone who just enjoys being outside and making a difference, this event is for you. We’re bringing together supporters, survivors, and allies for a day of fun, connection, and fundraising that directly impacts the lives of those navigating breast cancer.

Want to register or learn more? Head over to our Golf in Dallas event page and grab your spot. Trust us, you won’t want to miss this.

Art, Jazz, and Mental Health: The Art Jazz Gala

Now let’s talk about Atlanta. On April 18, 2026, we’re hosting something truly special: the Art Jazz Gala at Trees Atlanta from 6-9 PM. And when we say special, we mean it.

Picture this: live art, smooth jazz, and an evening dedicated to mental health activation and community connection. It’s glamorous, it’s creative, and it’s all about supporting the work we do as a breast cancer awareness organization in Atlanta.

What to Expect

We’ve featured incredible artists like Angelina Sherie and Richard Shaw Jr. There’s something magical about watching art come to life while jazz music fills the air: it’s the kind of experience that stays with you.

The attire? Artistically Creative / Semi Formal. Translation: dress to express yourself! We want you to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate. Whether that’s a bold print, your favorite suit, or something uniquely you: bring it.

Why This Matters

At I Will Survive, Inc., we know that breast cancer doesn’t just affect the body. It affects mental health, emotional wellbeing, and the entire family system. That’s why this gala isn’t just about raising funds: it’s about creating space for healing, connection, and joy.

Mental health activation means we’re intentionally creating moments for people to connect, reflect, and support one another. And we’re doing it with style.

How to Get Involved

VIP tickets are available now, and we’ve got sponsorship opportunities at multiple levels: Gold, Platinum, and Silver. Sponsoring means your business or organization gets visibility while supporting critical breast cancer awareness donations that keep our programs running.

Want to secure your spot or become a sponsor? Visit artjazzgala.com for all the details. Spots are filling up, so don’t wait!

Honoring Heroes: Veteran Owned Business Life Magazine

Here’s something we’re incredibly proud of: our Veteran Owned Business Life Magazine. As a veteran-founded organization, honoring those who’ve served our country is deeply personal to us.

This publication highlights veterans from Georgia and Florida, along with businesses across the southern region who are making a real impact in their communities. It’s a celebration of service, resilience, and the entrepreneurial spirit that so many veterans bring to civilian life.

Spotlight on Rodney Bullard

One of the featured stories in our latest issue is about Rodney Bullard, whose mission around health equity aligns perfectly with our own values. Health equity means everyone: regardless of their background, zip code, or circumstances: has access to the care and resources they need.

For breast cancer survivors, health equity is everything. It’s the difference between getting diagnosed early or too late. It’s the difference between affording treatment or falling through the cracks. And it’s why we do what we do.

Rodney’s story reminds us that service doesn’t end when you take off the uniform. It continues in how we show up for our communities, advocate for the vulnerable, and work toward systems that support everyone.

Why We Do What We Do

Whether it’s golf in Dallas, an art gala in Atlanta, or publishing stories about veterans and businesses making a difference, everything we do comes back to one core belief: community matters.

Breast cancer can feel isolating. The diagnosis, the treatment, the recovery: it’s a lot. But when we come together: through events, through storytelling, through showing up for one another: we remind survivors they’re not alone.

That’s what I Will Survive, Inc. is all about. We’re more than a breast cancer awareness organization in Atlanta: we’re a movement of people who refuse to let cancer have the last word.
